Welcome, friends!
If you’ve known me for a long time, you probably identify with me most as a trombonist or brass teacher, and for good reason - I’ve spent the better part of twenty years doing this work in one form or another. I have worked with students of all ages in one-on-one and group lesson settings, master classes, clinics, and ensemble sectionals and chamber music coachings. This is still my primary work and I can’t wait to dive in each day!
In the spirit of growth and change, I recently added a new role to my professional life - career coach! Many people scratch their heads when this topic comes up in conversation, and over time, I hope to clarify what a coach does (and doesn’t do.)
At my core, I believe that I was put here on earth to help others. No matter what challenges you may currently be facing, I believe that we are wired for community, and one-on-one relationships are a great place to start. You don’t have to do this alone, and I am here to help!
Musician
I believe that a healthy career is a varied one.
Teacher
I strive to give my students the tools to become their own best teacher.
Coach
I help others, outside of my music studio, on their professional journey to see things through a new lens.
